Offspring contain many parts and properties, consisting of genes from both the father and mother, known as the parent generation. Each offspring contains numerous genes coding for specific tasks and properties, with males and females contributing equally to the genotypes of their offspring through gamete fusion. Sex linkage is an inheritance pattern where a gene is located on the sex chromosome, and patterns differ in male and female offspring.
